The RLV College of Music and Fine Arts, Tripunithura had organised ‘Sadhana’, an all-India conference on “Music-natya and fine arts education”, a music and natya festival and a fine arts exhibition as part of the platinum jubilee celebrations from October 3 to October 9, 2012 on the college premises.
An array of well known artistes had performed giving lecture demonstrations during the week-long festival that honoured its alumnus and playback singer K.J. Yesudas for his 50-year journey in the realms of music.
The noted singer did conduct a concert after the inaugural ceremony.
K. Babu, Minister for Excise and Ports, inaugurated the celebrations while noted violinist T.N. Krishnan inaugurated Sadhana.
